President Yoweri Museveni has prescribed behaviour change as a remedy in the fight against the spread of HIV/AIDS among the Ugandan population.
“Behavior change is still key in the fight against HIV/AIDS. We should continue to disseminate information on abstinence, being faithful and correct and consistent condom use to prevent HIV. In addition, we should increase knowledge on benefits of HIV testing, treatment and drug adherence as the pathway to viral suppression,” the president said.
He was speaking during the celebrations to mark the World AIDS day at Kololo Independence grounds.
