The NRM Secretary General Rt Hon Justine Kasule Lumumba on Wednesday evening made an impromptu visit to Nsambya Hospital where she checked on Mrs Lokel Mary Nading who is convalescing after being knocked down by a 'boda-boda' on her way back home after attending the recently concluded National Conference at Namboole Stadium.
Mrs Lokel who is the Treasurer Women's League Kaboong District and a resident of Kapilambar East in Kaboong Town Council sustained head injuries during the accident.
The Secretary-General sympathized with the party member and extended words of support and encouragement to her family.
She also paid a visit to another party member, Mrs Enid Tumusiime the NRM Vice Chairperson Women's League, Bushenyi District who is also undergoing treatment at the same hospital.
She pledged to meet the medical bills for both the party members.
SG Lumumba was accompanied by the Chairperson Women's League Hon Lydia Wanyoto.
