NRM Secretary General Rt. Hon. Justine Kasule Lumumba has described the late Bishop Cyprian Kikunhi Bamwoze as having been a clear citizen whose leadership was exemplary defying all predictions, speculations and plots.

"He was a true example of all-round leaders. He never feared to walk alone if that's what took for him to demonstrate his choice", said the Secretary General.

In her message to the mourners, Lumumba added, "Bishop Bamwoze's style of life is a confirmation of his resilience and perseverance. Each of us has his or her slice of his life"

She further praised the deceased bishop for a good track of record in developing the people of Busoga and Uganda at large. "The Busoga wide development model of multi sectoral development was the envy of many religious agencies. His leadership brought water, health and education services to many of the remotest rural communities in Busoga", she stressed.

She made a humble contribution of UGX 3m towards the burial arrangements.
