The Secretary General Rt Hon Justine Kasule Lumumba has commended the National Secretariat for Patriotism Corps for it's role played in educating Ugandans on the country’s history.
While presiding over at the closure of a patriotism youth camp organised by the National Secretariat yesterday, Lumumba said that patriotism doesn’t only encourage Ugandans to love their country but teaches them what happened before they were born.
"It's proper for all Ugandans to know where we have come from as a country because it propels us to love and protect our achievements." The Secretary General said.
Lumumba lectured the youths on their role as citizens towards their country and urged them to work earnestly towards building their nation.
"We shouldn't be reminded to love our country, it should rather be something we freely feel proud to do." Lumumba added.
She applauded the residents of Kasambya Constituency for overwhelmingly voting the Party in the recent village local council elections and argued them to continue supporting the NRM and HE.Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.
