In an address that majority of the Jinja East voters have described as a 'moving speech', NRM candidate Igeme Nathan Nabeta has publicly forgiven his haters and called upon his supporters to love them too.
Nabeta has also revealed that two of his own brothers in a family of 35 children have turned political weapons against him but asked his supporters to continue treating them as his real brothers.
"I am the family heir and these are now my sons. They have the right to do so and please don't look at them as enemies but friends", said Nabeta whose candidature is fully supported by the remaining 33 brothers and sisters.
He has this Saturday afternoon been canvassing support in Masese area ahead of the polls on Thursday next week. All his mini rallies have been attended and addressed by the the Secretary General Justine Kasule Lumumba and the State Minister for Cooperatives Hon Gume Ngobi.
Nabeta has confessed having some political haters whose genesis of anger isn't known to him but pledged to continue working and relating with them as friends for the good of Jinja. He said despite the insults against him, he had found space in his heart to forgive them.
Nabeta's respectful and mature approach to political issues has turned out to be a major tool in winning him massive support and thence placing his candidature in a comfortable zone.
